3-环己氨基丙磺酸
CAS 1135-40-6 CTH10055
CAPS (3-(cyclohexylamino)-1-propanesulfonic acid) is a Good's zwitterionic buffer with a pKa of about 10.4 at 25 °C and a useful buffering range of roughly pH 9.7–11.1. It is widely used for Western blot transfer of high-molecular-weight or high-pI proteins and for electroblotting before protein sequencing (commonly 10 mM, pH 11), as well as alkaline enzyme assays.
